Consultations are partially funded by Medicare. There is a gap payment which is unable to be claimed on private health insurance. Ring for details of the charges for a consultation.
Operations:
Hospital costs may be covered by your private health insurance. Please confirm this with your health fund.
Surgeon costs – the amount of gap payment depends on the insurance provider (our fees are the same for every patient, however medical insurance coverage is variable).
Anaesthetic cost – generally there is a gap payment. This amount can only be estimated once the individual anaesthetist is assigned.
